B.A. Construction & Restoration Inc.,
Was incorporated in 1997. It started as a subcontractor of larger firms and became a Masonry Contractor in 2001 with the outstanding stone installation done at the Casino Rama Hotel and Entertainment Centre.
Its owner, Andrew Seider, has been involved in masonry installation and restoration since he came to Canada in 1985. His business experience goes back to the late 80s, when surrounded by partners that later sought different ventures, he led the heritage stone repairs done at the Penitentiary, the Royal Military College and the Armoury Base in Kingston, Ontario.
In 2001, Andrew incorporated his second firm, B.A. Masonry, specialized in brick, block and stone installation and his son, Paul Seider, took over the contemporary and heritage masonry restoration work with remarkable work done at George Brown College, St. Thomas Aquinas CS and Toronto Public Library Dufferin Branch.
Bonded and insured as due, B.A. Construction & Restoration Inc. counts on a permanent team of five crews integrated by 25 bricklayers, stone masons and labourers.
In 2003, B.A. Construction & Restoration Inc. widened the horizon in contemporary brick and concrete repairs.
In 2005 B.A. Construction & Restoration Inc. completed the simultaneous restoration of Thorah Central Public School in Beaverton, Ontario, and G.L. Roberts C.V.I. in Oshawa, Ontario for the Durham District School Board, outstanding samples of its workmanship and work capacity.
Its list of customers includes the Toronto Public Library, the Brampton City Hall, the Toronto Catholic District School Board, the Durham District School Board, the University of Toronto, the Exhibition Place, the Ministry of Mining and Natural Resources, among other institutions and landmark buildings that benefited from its workmanship.
